                                                    About Patti Tarang

Patti Tarang is an Indian version of the Xylophone. The word ‘tarang’ literally means ‘waves’ referring to the notes produced in a rising order. This instrument produces a maximum of 30 musical notes.

Patti Tarang consists of metal plates placed in a wooden box. Each metal produces a distinct musical note when struck by a stick. The metal plates are arranged in an ascending order of notes. The player uses 2 sticks while playing this instrument    .

Box is only for transporting the musical instruments and may arrive with scratches

Damaged Items Replacement Guarantee

Please note that we test all the items before shipping. We also pack our items with great care so that they arrive in perfect condition. However, in a rare case, if you receive a damaged or defective item we will collect and replace it at our cost.

Please inform us within two days of the receipt of a defective item by sending an email to help@tablasitar.com along with the details of the defects and photographs. We will also ask to file a report with the courier company so that we can claim insurance.

Please be patient and we will make sure that you are satisfied.

Terms & Conditions

Sorry, No Returns (yet!): All sales are final and we don't offer returns at the moment. We do, however, offer replacements if you receive defective or damaged items. We will be offering 7-day local UK, US and Canada returns very soon!

We Pay Custom Duties: If you have been charged a customs duty, please email us a copy of the receipt on help@tablasitar.com within two days and we will pay it back to you. This only applies to USA.

Remote-area Charge: If you live away from the city in a remote area in US/Canada/Australia, courier companies charge a little extra for delivery. Please click here to check if you live in a remote area. You can always collect the shipment from the nearest office of the courier company at no extra cost.
